TCS NQT-style Aptitude Quest mock test

Preparing for a TCS aptitude round? Use this NQT-style practice session to build a steady rhythm across arithmetic, reading and reasoning before adding more time pressure.

  • TCS NQT-style mock
  • 40 questions
  • 45 minutes
  • 3 sections
  • LineupX practice preset

Practice mock inspired by publicly known test patterns. Not affiliated with or endorsed by TCS.

What the practice mock covers

40 questions in 45 minutes, covering Quant, Verbal and Logical. These are LineupX practice settings.

Quantitative

Quantitative aptitude builds accuracy with percentages, ratios, time and work, and probability. Practise setting up the calculation before choosing a shortcut.

Verbal

Verbal practice checks reading comprehension, sentence correction and grammar. Find evidence in the passage rather than relying on familiar sounding answers.

Logical

Logical reasoning exercises series, arrangements and syllogisms. Translate clues into a diagram and distinguish what must follow from what merely could.

Patterns vary by year and role. Check TCS’s official careers site and your assessment invitation for current requirements.

How to prepare for TCS NQT-style practice

  • Revise percentage changes and ratio conversions, then solve ten mixed arithmetic problems without consulting your formula sheet.
  • Read one short passage daily and write a sentence explaining why each rejected option is unsupported.
  • Draw a compact grid for arrangement questions; check every clue before committing to an answer.
  • Use the 45-minute mock as a baseline, recording where reading or calculation slows you down.
  • Revisit missed concepts before another attempt so your next score reflects learning rather than remembered answers.
